Americans Cannot Afford Brand New Cars

Nowadays, the average price of a brand new vehicle in the country is at $32k. Now, if we consider the average median of $51,017 (based on a 2012 survey) we would expect to see many Americans finding it impossible to buy a new car.

The thing that makes it worse for the average American is buying a brand new car by paying it over time for a long period of time and paying it on a huge interest – whether it is through installment plans from the dealership or through the bank with their auto loans. So basically, a brand new car is out of reach to most Americans.

If you want a brand new car, you have to save a lot of money just to pay for it. You would need to find ways how you can reduce your expenses. You have to find ways to make more money. You would have to change your goals if necessary. In other words, you would be changing a lot of things in your life so that you can afford to buy a brand new car. This can be a difficult undertaking, especially in today’s economy.

But personally speaking, it is not that important to buy a brand new car. If there’ a second hand car that is still in good quality, then it would be a better choice than a brand new car.
